How Did You Find Freedom from Insecurities?

Thank you so much. I have been struggling with this issue with my boyfriend. Ever since I learned he looks at porn I have become hyper sensitive to all of the women around us, in magazines, movies, television programs, women out and about in the world, especially those dressed in a provocative fashion. It got to the point where I felt my boyfriend was wanting every woman around us, and I would compare myself to all of them, especially since I am 8 years older than him and the porn he was viewing was of very young women.

Your video has encouraged me to stop caring about appearances, mine and others and focus on hearts instead and on Christ. I realize now that I I cannot control the thoughts and sin of my boyfriend, I can only control my own thoughts and reactions.

His porn watching and cheating has broken my heart a million times. I am so grateful for this site.  May the Lord bless it.

Ashley thanks for your video I found it very helpful. I though I was the only one that dealt with this kind of situation. Ever since I knew my husband now ex husband was watching porn, it destroyed my self esteem I felt as if I was not good enough for him which hurt so deep not so much because It made me feel not beautiful but specially because I love him and I wanted the best for him and the fact that he though somebody could make him happier because they are more beautiful it used to break my heart. I often got mad when he was looking at other women because it hurt me so much. I was always thinking I was not good enough and trying to make the best I could to be more beautiful, but nothing worked. Thanxs so much for sharing.
